TOYOE

Polyethylene has excellent sliding friction performance and an inherently low coefficient of friction. This key trait means its surface generates much less frictional resistance when sliding against other materials (metals, plastics, granular substances), unlike high-friction-coefficient materials that cause wear or energy loss—laying the groundwork for efficient, durable use

Polyethylene’s low-friction advantage fits applications where reducing friction is key. For mechanical part sliding surfaces (sliding rails, bearing sleeves, gears), it minimizes wear, extends machinery life, and cuts lubrication needs. For granular-material conveying pipes (coal, grain, plastic pellets), it lets materials flow smoothly, preventing sticking-related clogs and lowering conveying system energy use
It features a unique "honeycomb-like closed-cell structure". When impacted, it can absorb energy through closed-cell compression and quickly rebound (rebound rate > 90%) after the external force disappears, and is less likely to undergo permanent deformation. It is suitable for use as a cushioning material (such as child safety seats and anti-drop packaging for electronic products). |
|
| The long-term operating temperature range is 40℃ to 120℃, and it can withstand a short-term high temperature of 130℃. It does not crack at low temperatures or soften at high temperatures, making it suitable for extreme environments (such as peripheral components of car engines and cold chain transportation insulation boxes). |
