Why Choose Our EPE lining?

With its independent closed-cell structure, EPE foam provides excellent cushioning, shock absorption, water resistance, moisture resistance and thermal insulation. Lightweight, easy to process, non-toxic and fully recyclable, it overcomes the fragility and pollution issues of traditional foam plastics, making it an ideal packaging material that combines protection with environmental sustainability.
EPE has poor heat resistance and limited mechanical strength, prone to softening, deformation or permanent compression under high temperatures or heavy loads. It is flammable, has poor weather resistance, and ages easily outdoors. Additionally, its large volume after foaming increases storage and transport costs, and it is more expensive than traditional EPS foam, resulting in poor cost-effectiveness in low-end applications without strict environmental requirements.
EPE is widely used in cushioning packaging for electronics, appliances, furniture and e-commerce, as well as in construction (floor damp-proofing, wall insulation/soundproofing), automotive interiors, cold-chain transport, sports gear, children's products, luggage, footwear and agricultural packaging. Its customizable density, lamination, anti-static and flame-retardant properties make it a versatile, safe and environmentally sustainable material with multifunctional adaptability. |

| Despite its wide use, EPE foam is unsuitable for: high-temperature environments (over 75°C, it softens/deforms); long-distance international transport (prone to deterioration); high-impact protection (limited load-bearing; EPP preferred); markets with stringent environmental requirements (restricted in EU countries like Germany); scenarios requiring high resilience; precision rigid support structures (prone to deformation); and long-term outdoor use (ageing/degradation). Therefore, material selection should be based on actual operating conditions and requirements. |
